MEET Julia Gaesser
Beginning counseling can be an overwhelming process, but you are not alone. I am dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, challenges, and goals. I believe that each person has unique strengths and the capacity for positive change. I strive to help clients gain greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence in navigating life's difficulties and creating a life worth living.
My counseling approach is grounded in empathy and collaboration. I draw from Person-Centered principles while incorporating evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) tailored to each client's individual needs.
As a developing student intern, I am committed to ongoing learning, self-reflection, and professional growth to best support the individuals I serve. I welcome the opportunity to work alongside clients as they pursue meaningful change, healing, and personal development.
